About Workfloor
The future of work, for the people running it. Who we are, what we cover across Work, Careers, Hiring, Management, HR and Remote, how we report and correct our work, and how to reach the Workfloor editorial desk.
Workfloor is an independent publication covering Work, careers, hiring, management, HR, remote. The future of work, for the people running it — written for HR, ops, managers, founders, and published on a simple premise: the people who actually do this work deserve the version that survives contact with it.

Why Workfloor exists
Coverage of Work, Careers, Hiring, Management, HR and Remote tends to split into two unhelpful halves: press releases with a byline attached, and commentary from people who have never had to ship, buy, or live with the thing being discussed. Workfloor was started to sit in the gap — close enough to the subject to know what actually changed, far enough from it to say so plainly.
Our editorial voice is deliberate: practical, people-first, warm. That shows up as how-to guides, ranked lists, explainers and head-to-head comparisons — whichever format answers the question a reader actually arrived with, rather than whichever one fills the most space.
Who writes here
Every piece on Workfloor carries the name of the person who reported and wrote it. 3 writers currently file for us across Work, Careers, Hiring, Management, HR and Remote, and each of them keeps a profile page listing their background, their beat, and everything they've published on this site.
Where a story has been independently fact-checked, the reviewer is credited separately from the writer, so you can tell who reported a claim and who checked it. Nothing here is published under a house byline or an invented persona.
What we cover
- Work The broader shifts in how and where work actually gets done.
- Careers Navigating career moves, growth, and decisions at every stage.
- Hiring Recruiting, interviewing, and building a team that actually works.
- Management Leading teams day to day — feedback, structure, and getting the best out of people.
- HR Policy, benefits, and the operational side of people teams.
- Remote Distributed teams, async workflows, and what actually makes remote work, work.
How we work
-
We report before we opine
Analysis on Workfloor starts from something checkable — a filing, a release, a data set, a conversation with someone who was in the room. Where we're inferring rather than reporting, the piece says so in the sentence that does the inferring.
-
Corrections happen in public
When we get something wrong we fix it in place and note the correction on the article itself, with what changed and when. We don't quietly edit a mistake out of the record.
-
Commercial relationships never buy coverage
Some links may be sponsored. Coverage is independent. Sponsored links are marked where they appear and carry the appropriate link attributes. No sponsor sees a story before publication, and no commercial relationship decides whether a topic gets covered or what we conclude about it.
-
We write for the person doing the work
This site is written for HR, ops, managers, founders — not for a search engine, and not for an industry insider looking to be flattered. If a piece can't survive being read by someone who does this for a living, it isn't ready to publish.
